Pablo Repun has been our Argentine Tango instructor for more than 3 years and we find him to be a very professional, top quality instructor. He is also a gentleman of the highest ideals. We have learned from Pablo in two ways; (1) by Pablo and his wife Alicia conducting group classes, and (2) in private lessons with Pablo. In both cases, learning has been outstanding emphasizing steps, technique, and musicality. Instruction should be considered excellent if it "stretches" the learner but to do so in a relaxed, professional style is a strength that very few instructors possess. That has been our experience and includes a trip with them to Argentina for advanced instruction!If you ever have the opportunity to travel with Pablo and Alicia to Argentina, seize that chance! Buenos Aires will wrap you up with its daylight experiences and evenings at milongas that only the Repuns can show you because they are genuine Porteños!
In sum, we have been "going to dance school" for 14 years (!) and believe that he is the finest instructor of Argentine Tango a man or woman could have. That is why his milongas in Naples and Sarasota have been extremely well attended. It is hard to top a professional couple like Pablo and Alicia Repun. Are we continuing to be instructed by Pablo? Absolutely!!!
